 | Alan Vogt, J.D., CFP®
Alan has been a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM practitioner since 1984. He founded Paramount Planning Inc. in 1980 and has helped more than a thousand individuals identify and achieve their financial goals. Alan is a lawyer. He graduated from Cornell University and the University of Buffalo Law School. He has practiced law, was chief financial officer of a public corporation, and ran an employee benefits consulting firm before deciding to work exclusively in financial consulting.
Alan is Chairman of Schroeder, Braxton, & Vogt Financial Advisors. He works to ensure that the firm has the resources and programs to effectively guide its clients and aid them in the achievement of their financial goals. He helps clients develop sound, workable financial plans and implement investment plans that make the optimum use of their assets.

 | Richard Schroeder, CFP®
Richard is executive vice president and a managing partner in the firm. He started his financial planning and investment management practice in 1994 and has helped hundreds of people achieve their financial goals. He helps clients define and work toward their life goals through financial planning and the implementation of sound, diversified investment portfolios.
Richard has written about personal finance and investing for newspapers and magazines in the United States and abroad. He began writing his column in 1984 for The Buffalo News and continues to publish "Richard Schroeder’s Investment Update," a monthly investment newsletter. He is a graduate of the University of Binghamton, the University of Buffalo, and the College for Financial Planning. He has been a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM practitioner since 1995.

 | Rosanne Braxton, CFP®
Rosanne is President of Schroeder, Braxton, & Vogt Financial Advisors and oversees administration of all client accounts. She has been a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM practitioner since 1991. Over the years she has solved thousands of administrative problems for clients, making their financial lives easier.
Rosanne implements investment strategies for our clients' portfolios. She manages all withdrawals for clients, as well as trust distributions and mandatory retirement plan withdrawals. She also helps clients track their portfolios, including assets not managed by the firm. She works directly with clients to help them identify and meet their goals, and specializes in assisting divorced clients. She is a graduate of the College for Financial Planning’s Professional Education Program.

 | Janice Tennant
Janice Tennant is Client Services Supervisor for Schroeder, Braxton & Vogt. She has completed the Canisius College CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNINGTM program. Janice has worked in the personal financial field for 17 years, with experience in banking, insurance, and investments. She supervises client account activities, including required minimim distributions from retirement accounts and transfers of funds to clients. She prepares portfolio, performance, and tax reports for clients and helps them with their accounts.

 | Sheila Bergman
Sheila is a graduate of Daemen College in Amherst, N.Y. She holds a bachelors degree in psychology. As Administrative Assistant she has operated Schroeder, Braxton, & Vogt’s front desk since 2002. She greets visitors and telephone callers to the firm. Sheila schedules all appointments, maintains client files, reminds them of their annual meetings, sends information to prospective clients, mails newsletters and performance reports, and makes sure the firm runs smoothly.

 | Steven M. Elwell, CFP®
Steven Elwell is a financial advisor and investment management coordinator with Schroeder, Braxton & Vogt. He graduated from SUNY Alfred in 2007 with a Bachelor's degree in Financial Planning. He has been a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM practitioner since 2009. Steven has been quoted in such publications as Financial Advisor Magazine, Investment News, and the Dow Jones Newswire.
Steven advises his clients about all areas of their financial lives to help them meet and achieve their personal goals. He also helps the firm's principals with client portfolios, financial planning projects, and client meetings. He is part of the firm’s Investment Committee and provides research on various investment securities and portfolio allocations

 | Kim Clancy
Kim is our Financial Administrative Assistant. She joined the firm in 2005. She is a graduate of Westchester University, Westchester, Pa. She has worked in financial administration for a New York City advertising firm, as client representative at a Western New York bank, and as office manager of a medical clinic. She is taking courses to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. Kim compiles tax basis reports for clients and sends them their quarterly investment review letters. She handles internal administrative duties, including bookkeeping and regulatory compliance.

 | Kathleen Hoenow
Kathy is Client Services Coordinator for Schroeder, Braxton & Vogt. She joined the firm in 2007 after working for several financial services firms, including AIM Investments in Houston, Texas. She is a graduate of Oswego State College.
She is responsible for opening new accounts, transferring client assets between accounts, making and monitoring trades within accounts, and providing distributions to clients.
